It’s not a Done Deal

What do you wish you knew when you were 20?

I for one, would like to have know that good health is not forever. As I grow older I see my parents, my siblings and myself becoming very fragile.

When I was in my 20s I was smoking one or two packs of cigarettes a day, I was also drinking heavily every change I got. I though I was going to last forever. I also took a lot of unnecessary risks. I remember driving back home at 100 mph at 3:00 AM.

I wonder how I made it to today!

Crimes of youth. That is all there was. When you are young, you think you are invincible. Nothing can hurt you. You then do, stupid things.

I think that cocky attitude is what is making younger folks not take the vaccines; for example.

Guaranteed health is not a done deal.

Whatever stupid decision I made back then, I am paying for them now.

I am not saying that, that is what is going to happen to you. I am just giving you my honest opinion based on my experience.

In the end, life is shorter than we think and we don’t want any regrets when it ends.

If you are young, make better choices…
