Pokemoto

I love ❤️ Hawaiian Poké!

I know is a franchise and it’s probably catering to a “younger” generation than mine, but, there is something about the flavor combinations with the immediacy and the presentation of it all.

To me, is like getting a big bowl of sushi in the famous “Make it Large” proportion made famous by McDonald’s.

Also, is very hip, trendy and screams of uniqueness when food can have lots of sameness.

Thankfully for us, we have lots of choices around us. Pokemoto been the one we frequent the most.

My favorite is the Sweet & Spicy Shrimp Poke bowl. My wife loves the Sesame Ginger Chicken bowl.

For those in the “Don’t Know”, Poké is:

…diced raw fish served either as an appetizer or a main course and is one of the main dishes of Native Hawaiian cuisine. Traditional forms are aku (skipjack tuna) and heʻe (octopus). Heʻe poke is sometimes called tako poke in places where the Hawaiian language is not spoken. Poke differs from other raw fish dishes in that it does not use citrus fruits as a curing agent.” (Source Wikipedia)

So, it you have not had it and you have access to it, take my advice and enjoy some. 😋
